What is Fellert?

Fellert is a hand-crafted seamless sound absorption system. The Fellert system originated in Sweden and consists primarily of fiberglass boards and acoustical plaster.

The fiberglass board is typically attached to gypsum wall board with a cementitious adhesive; the acoustical plaster is mixed with water and applied with a spray machine and troweled to an approximate thickness of 1/8".

		Implied zero VOC as per ASTM D3960 “Determination of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content in Paints and Related Coatings"
		Meets California’s Section 01350 IAQ emission requirements

Fellert sound absorbing substrate is manufactured in Shelbyville, Indiana.

The Fellert acoustical plaster was tested for VOC and IAQ:
		Thermal Conductivity ASTM C-177 @ 75 F on 6.0 PCF 0.22
		1" Fellert Fiberglass Board 4.55 R Value
		1.5" Fellert Fiberglass Board 6.82 R Value

		0.79–0.83 As per ASTM E1477-98a
